Watch
Inside KIND-R, and the families it serves.
A few minutes inside the building: the therapy gyms, the clinicians, and the patients who come through the door every day.

The facility
A hospital built for the care Pakistan never had.
Forty-two thousand square feet in Karachi, opened in December 2025. Neurology, therapy, imaging, devices and a pharmacy, arranged across six wings so a family only has to reach one address.
Patient visits since opening
Visits every day
Services under one roof
Square feet of clinical space

The patients
See the impact.
Rehabilitation is one of the few kinds of medicine where the result is visible in a person.

Sultan Ali
Stroke ยท right hemiplegia
One month at KIND-R
Before
A severe stroke a year ago. Doctors wanted to put him on a ventilator and the family refused. He lost his speech and his memory, and spent the year lying in bed. The family travelled long distances to paid hospitals for physiotherapy, over and over.
At KIND-R
Weekly appointments for one month. Occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy, in the same building on the same day.
Now
He walks. He holds a glass and holds a sandwich. He eats using his left hand. His speech is returning through repetition, and his family say he does things for himself again.

Arif
Cerebral palsy
Six months at KIND-R
Before
Cerebral palsy affecting posture, balance and the use of both hands together.
At KIND-R
Six months of occupational therapy built around midline orientation, symmetry, using both arms together and postural stability. He followed every home programme he was given.
Now
He dresses himself, eats and drinks on his own, and uses both hands. His writing has improved, he uses a computer, and he has isolated finger movement. His own message was that other young people can do the same with effort.
Both are under the care of KIND-Rโs lead occupational therapist, a certified sensory integration therapist with 34 years of practice.
The cost
All of it is free, for every patient who walks in.

Twenty dollars covers one patient visit, from the front desk to the pharmacy counter.
