The Education Support Program (ESP) was created to open the doors of learning for children who have endured more than most—refugees, those living in deep poverty, and young people displaced by conflict or loss.
Through scholarships, uniforms, scholastic materials, learning centers, mentorship, and need-based essentials, we work to remove every barrier that stands between a child and the future they deserve.
Many of our students have lost one or both parents. Others come from hardworking families who struggle to meet even the most basic needs. Their lives have never been easy, yet their hopes remain steady. And through ESP, we are helping them to reach them.
Support students from underserved communities with quality education, mentorship, and essential resources, and help break cycles of poverty at the root.
This program was established to promote and extend quality education and higher education opportunities, through scholarships, for refugees and poor children from some of the most deserving places around the world.
HHRD is providing education through need-based interventions in 19 countries which includes mentorship, mental and physical healthcare, food provision, scholastic material, and eyeglasses to ensure nothing hinders our children from attaining a brighter future.
HHRD’s Education Support Program tears down educational barriers for children living in remote areas as well as those families who cannot afford education. The program now serves the needy in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, India, Kashmir Valley, Kenya, Uganda, Bosnia, Haiti, Thailand, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Equador, Ghana, & Columbia.
In Mafraq, Jordan, Huda’s education nearly ended after eighth grade— her school lacked higher grades, and her family couldn’t afford distant options. Caravan of Hope School, Almafraq, with your support, HHRD furnished a ninth-grade classroom, giving Huda a chance to continue her studies.

The Education Support Program provides educational opportunities for underprivileged children and youth, from early childhood through university level. ESP ensures that poverty, displacement, or crisis does not end a child’s education.
ESP aims to:
• Improve access to education for orphans and vulnerable children
• Support educational institutions and teachers
• Encourage out of school children to join nonformal learning centers
• Promote emotional, intellectual, and social development
• Strengthen entire education systems through teacher training and capacity building

Yes, HHRD provides a report on students’ academic progress. Donors receive photos, report cards, and graduates update each year. However, for our HESP students, to honor their privacy, we provide their progress but not the progress report.
