Following the devastating 2022 floods, we constructed 672 flood-resistant homes, including a full Model Village in Chak Patyat with a school, mosque, playground, and healthcare clinic. From emergency tents to permanent housing, HHRD continues to restore hope and resilience for displaced families across Pakistan.

In 2024, families fled Gazaโs bombardment on foot, carrying everything in plastic bags. They arrived in the north to find HHRD tents already standing. For children who had heard only drones for weeks, a tent and a warm meal meant more than shelter. It restored their humanity.

As we continue to support refugees in Bangladesh, Jordan and Northern Syria, HHRD has substantial long-term plans in other regions including Pakistan and Afghanistan.ย
2025 may witness the construction of another major project in Northern Syria & in Pakistan. HHRD also intends to begin recovery efforts in the Gaza strip, though plans are understandably fluid at this point. SRP will continue to focus on long term development projects that have the potential to elevate populations beyond the status quo.
