Stock & Mutual Funds
Donating long-term appreciated securities like stocks and mutual funds directly to HHRD is a simple and tax-efficient way to give. By doing so, you can potentially claim a tax deduction for the full fair market value and avoid paying capital gains tax.
How to Donate:
Notify Us
First, fill out the form on our website to notify our Donor Care Department of your intended gift.
Initiate The Transfer
Instruct your broker to transfer the shares electronically. You will need to provide them with the following information:
- Recipient Name: Helping Hand for Relief and Development

- Recipient Tax ID: 31-1628040

Cryptocurrency
HHRD accepts cryptocurrency donations as a fast, secure, and tax-smart way to contribute. Donating cryptocurrency directly allows you to avoid capital gains tax and potentially receive a federal income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of your donation.
How to Donate:
Use our donation widget
You can use our secure online tool to donate over 100 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and many more. The contribution is immediately converted to cash and directed to HHRD for immediate use.
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
A Donor Advised Fund is a charitable investment account that gives you the flexibility to make a contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to HHRD over time. It's an excellent way to consolidate your giving and manage your donations strategically.
How to Donate:
Recommend a Grant
Connect to your DAF account and submit a grant request to HHRD.
EIN
When prompted, use HHRD’s Federal EIN#: 13-5660870.
Confirmation
Your DAF provider will process the request and distribute the funds to HHRD on your behalf.

The Healthcare and Nutrition program provides an array of health services to poor, vulnerable, and excluded communities around the world. Its main focus areas include providing healthcare to underserved and disaster-hit communities, maternal and child healthcare, prevention of blindness, emergency medical response and patient transportation.
What kind of healthcare services are provided?
The program serves through a number of Health & Nutrition Clinics, Mobile Medical Units, Ambulances, Mobile Dental Clinic, Mother and Child Healthcare Center, Neonatal Care, Immunizations, General and Specialized Medical Camps, Eye Clinics & Outreach Camps for Cataract Surgeries, Mental Health & Psychosocial Support, and more. The primary interventions supported are:
1. Prevention of Blindness through Cataract Surgeries
2. Primary Healthcare & Nutrition Services
3. Mother & Child Health Care
4. Emergency Medical Relief in disaster hit areas
5. Mobile Medical and Dental Care
6. General & Specialized Medical Camps
7. Ambulance Service
